On June 17 we have, thanks to Erik Poll, organized an excursion to Fox-IT, a specialized digital security company located in Delft. They work on projects for governments and organizations as the Dutch AIVD, and are willing to give us a special tour in their offices in Delft. We will be shown around the building and be able to watch some presentations on the current research that is happening there. This is a good opportunity to get an impression of where we may end up in a few years, and maybe even to arrange yourself an internship or summer job or even a future career...

Transport/How to get there
Now Delft is not the most nearby town for any of us, so that means you have to include some time for travelling. By public transport I'm sure you can all find this out yourself, but Peter van Rossum informed us the university is willing to fund us hiring a van or something alike. Now this will depend on what number of students comes from which university, but if we have an equal split we could e.g. rent three 8-person vans. If you have any suggestions post them here, we'll keep you informed.
Subscribe
To go to Fox-IT with us, subscribe by placing your name in this list (see the edit button on top of the page). Yes, in case you haven't done so already, this means you'll have to register.
Fox-IT asked us to send a copy of all ID's beforehand (to prevent the time-consuming process of granting us access at the location - yes, they are into security ;-) ). So we'll ask you for a copy if you subscribe.
(FYI: These copies I have removed by now)
There is a limit of 20 persons
